My Yoga Journey

My entire life I was a yogi, but the time had finally come for me to commit to finding a teacher training that fit into my world. With divine timing, alignment and a lot of late night Google research,
I found exactly what I had been looking for in a yoga teacher training for over the last decade…

I emailed Hineni Yoga School in Denver setting up an inquiry call, found a scholarship that also aligned and eagerly began the next steps to finally pursuing my yoga teacher training.

After an amazing 1:1 with the founder, being gifted the Media Hero Scholarship, which helped me hugely participate in the teacher training program with my tuition, I was officially on my way to becoming a yoga teacher starting in May of 2025 for the Summer.

From the moment I found out that Hineni meant “Here I Am” in Sanskrit, I knew I was exactly where I was supposed to be with my teacher training, eagerly awaiting to start, knowing the timing, everything, was meant to be for me, here and now, saying to the world, “HERE I AM!”

On night one 7 souls entered a one of a kind studio in Denver that became home to me for the next 12 weeks as we weaved our worlds together knowing this would be the journey of a lifetime and we were all exactly where we were supposed to be, trusting the timing of it all. From hours in the studio to one of a kind experience attending Telluride Yoga Festival, yoga teacher training was more than just learning how to teach yoga…it taught me how to bring this practice that has empowered me to heal from the inside out, in every moment, to the world, in my own unique way, finding my voice, free to be JOYFULLY ME, on and off of my mat.

Teacher training came to a close at the beginning of August at beautiful Freebird Valley, where I continued to experience once in a lifetime moments like cold plunging for the first time with my fellow yogis and sunset adventures in the mountains of Colorado while learning Sanskrit listening to the grasshoppers.

Trusting the timing of my world as school came to a close and already working in the wellness industry at a gym, I had the opportunity to quickly step into an audition to teach yoga starting weeks after graduation. Knowing that this is what I am meant to do, I followed my intuition, continued to find my flow on and off of
my mat and began my yoga teacher career August 29, 2025.

I am currently teaching 3 different formats of yoga in Aurora, CO, including 2 restorative formats that focus on lengthening the muscles and connective tissues, while allowing the breath to truly guide you into your body focusing on nervous system healing, restoration and repair in each breath, paired with mindful moments through positive affirmations. Alongside a traditional Vinyasa flow focusing on the slow and steady rhythm of breath to movement, feeling your body vs. a final posture or full flexibility most of us strive for in our yoga practice.

The last few months of teaching yoga, bringing this practice of mindfulness, breath and movement to the world has truly been something I am so beyond grateful for and it’s challenging to put into words for me. I hope to continue to show up and shine, on and off of my mat, to empower others as we human and heal together knowing that we can access the breath, the power in that moment, at anytime, here and now.

I hope to see you on your mat with me!
